This page explains how to delete your account and erase your personal data from ONZIP. Your ONZIP sign-in is a shared account of the Global Piggy Inc. apps; deleting it removes your account and data in every one of those apps.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open ONZIP and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete your account, check each box and tap Delete account.
- Your account and your data on our servers are erased (except as noted below) and you are signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email privacy@globalpiggy.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.
Include the email address or phone number tied to your account and the app name ONZIP. We verify that the request comes from the account owner before erasing, then confirm by reply.
We complete verified deletion requests without undue delay, and in any case within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account identity (email or phone, display name) and the result of the age check.
- Your contact cards, the messages you wrote in home conversations, and your photos and documents that are not part of a report kept for someone else.
- Documents you uploaded to show you own or manage a home.
- Homes where you are the only member, with everything in them.
- Condition reports that no one else is part of.
- Your calendar link, notification settings and usage counters.
- Your data in every other app on the same Global Piggy Inc. account.
What remains, and why
- Homes you share stay with the other members, without you. Records you added there — repairs, warranties, inventory, structures and equipment — stay with the home, no longer linked to you.
- Condition reports you made with someone else, and their photos, stay for the other side for as long as the law requires (for example, Alberta requires condition reports to be kept for 3 years). Your name and contact details are hidden in ONZIP, but the signed PDF is kept exactly as it was signed — it still shows the names and signatures — because its fingerprint is what the verification code checks.
- Evidence records that chain a shared home’s history stay with that home, with your identity removed.
- Backups cycle out on their own schedule; until then deleted data is not used.
